Digital guidebook specialist Touch Stay has closed seed funding of approximately £500,000.
The U.K-based business says the funding came from a number of investors including SiteMinder founder Mike Ford as well as existing investors.
The round puts Touch Stay at £4 million valuation after an initial undisclosed investment announced in 2019.
Touch Stay is now looking to increase its customer base of accommodation providers and destination management companies as well as to invest in product development and recruitment.

It is also poised to launch a guest messaging feature.
Andy McNulty, co-founder and CEO of Touch Stay, says: “Touch Stay was created to facilitate optimal operator-guest communication, improve guest experience and the positive triggers of that for guests and operators alike. We’re already in the hands of millions of guests and I look forward to growing that as this funding enables us to scale our product, technology and team.”
The company says there are 18,500 active Touch Stay digital guidebooks that provide guests with local information and remove the need for printed information.
