Phocuswright, a sister brand of PhocusWire, has redesigned its interactive data platform with a more robust back-end data structure and a new user interface with dynamic filtering.
Known as Phocal Point, the platform makes it easy for users to create custom interactive charts and interpret travel data by segment, channel, region and country.
The platform pulls from Phocuswright’s proprietary travel sizing data for more than 35 markets with future projections through 2025-2026 and historical data back to 2009.
And along with market sizing data, Phocal Point provides access to Phocuswright’s State of Startups database, which includes details about startup funding dating back to 2005 for more than 3,000 companies by location and founding year, vertical and horizontal category and more.
“Phocal Point was designed to enable our subscribers to
access Phocuswright’s unique dataset easily and use it in a way that matches
their individual needs,” said Charuta Fadnis, Phocuswright
senior vice president of research and product strategy.
“We are very excited about the new version because it greatly
improves the speed at which we can get the data in front of users, while
offering significantly better visualizations and functionality.”
Phocal Point is only accessible with a Phocuswright Open Access research subscription.
