As experiences become a more dominant factor in consumers' travel decisions, TourRadar is linking up with two new partners who will use its API to sell adventure travel - LocalAdventures, which offers experiences in Latin America and Australia-based travel marketplace Travlr.
Travis Pittman, CEO and founder of TourRadar, said the partnerships are “a testament to our dedication to redefining adventure travel” and making organized adventure travel more accessible.
TourRadar offers group adventures, private adventures and personalized adventures.

The company's API enables partners to offer customers a selection of tens of thousands of organized trips in more than 160 countries.
The breadth of TourRadar’s library is part of the reason Travlr opted to partner with the company, per founder and CEO Simon te Hennepe.
“We chose TourRadar’s API because it allows us to tap into a network for more than 2,500 global operators with a robust 50,000 plus multi-day organized adventures through one connection,” said Simon te Hennepe, Travlr CEO.
And Local Adventures was looking to add more experiences to its platform when it opted to link up with TourRadar.
“Through this integration, we will be able to present our customers with a more comprehensive selection of thoughtfully curated multi-day organized adventures,” said co-founder and CEO of Local Adventures Daniel Pena.
Pittman said his goal is for TourRadar to be “at the heart of the ecosystem” and these partnerships are steps towards that.
“It's all incremental,” he said. “It's also basically opening up and connecting the industry more.”
